Emanuel-Yehuda Moreno grew up in Jerusalem, was educated in the State-religious educational frameworks and continued to the pre-military Ben David Baal Preparatory. He enlisted in 1990 for the patrol of the General Staff, served for many years in combat and command positions, and became known for his modesty, faith and devotion to Israel's security.
